We have been very pleased with the care and concern that my aging mother has received at Blue Ridge! At 98, she continues. The hospice nurse said that the care is so good at Blue Ridge Adult Family home that she simply would not have survived this long had it not been for the quality of care. That is a big endorsement.

Blue Ridge Adult Family home was a savior for my mother. She was there for 4 years. The owner and staff are first-rate and treated mom as if she were their own mother. I am convinced there was no better place for mom to live out the remainder of her life. Blue Ridge is warm, safe, cozy, and I’d recommend them to anyone. The other reviews I’ve read are spot-on. They say it better than I can. If your family member needs adult care, this is the place.

This is a long overdue review. I want to share my experiences over the past four plus years my 92yr old mother has been a resident at Blue Ridge Adult Family Home in Seattle. The owner is an excellent communicator and keeps family members well informed. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, it’s well taken care of, clean, warm and calming. The front court yard is perfect to sit out with mom on a warm day and the back patio and living room overlooks the sound. The same team of caregivers have been there since mom arrived. The stability and quality of care is amazing to watch. Besides the usual chores, bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, the care givers bring a lot of joy and happiness to the residents. They are supportive and understanding to family members as well. Mom loves the meals and enjoys the interactions with the other residents. Our family takes comfort knowing mom is well cared for when we are not with her. We feel fortunate Blue Ridge Adult Family Home is the prefect fit for mom.

When my mom was struggling at her previous place I began looking for something else. When I saw Blue Ridge on line it seemed to be the perfect fit. I rushed right over on my lunch break (it is very close to where I work). I was so pleased to see how clean, beautiful and homey it was. There is an amazing view of Puget Sound and a pretty garden out front where my mom and I enjoyed sitting in the sun. Amante and the whole staff are very organized and attentive, my mom and I both felt welcome and safe. I knew she was going to need to be on Hospice care and they welcomed that as well. I am so thankful to everyone there for letting her know she was loved, attending to all her needs with such kindness, and supporting me as well. I am at peace knowing she was so well taken care of in her final days. Blue Ridge was the right choice,I’m so lucky to have found them.

Our mother spent the last several years of her life in this beautiful home. Amante and his staff, particularly Joy, were wonderful with her. They were also very kind to all of her children, who showed up at all hours – even in the middle of the night – to look in on Mom. It was such a relief knowing that she was safe and well-cared for, even when she was getting up so often in the middle of the night. My father moved into Blue Ridge AFH after he began struggling living on with help in his own home. He is a very particular person and he was really concerned about the level of care. He has had so many positive things to say about Blue Ridge AFH and I was pleasantly suppressed how well the employees and Amante tend to his wants and needs. I have have spent some time in visiting with him myself and I was impressed with the cleanliness and general upkeep of the house.

I am so happy when i was looking for an afh for my friend that i was told about Blue Ridge. They took such good care of my friend. What was so very nice she was able to stay while on hospice. Not all places do that. The owner Amante is very nice & gets little extra things they want or need when he goes shopping. The caregivers are very caring & good at what they do. I really like how they keep a book on each person. They keep records on everything meds, food & how they are doing. He has a pharmacy that delivers. And a very nice doctor that comes once a month to the house. Also a visiting nurse. Very clean, with private room with bathrooms. Thank you all so very much for taking care of my friend.

As my father started to need more care than what I felt could be provided in his condo, the Blue Ridge Family Home felt like the perfect fit. They have a beautiful, sunny home with outstanding Puget Sound views. The staff was warm, professional, and a delight to interact with. My father frequently commented on what a good cook Joy is. This family home was truly a blessing for us and I am so grateful for the care they provided my father in his final days.

Going from her home of many years to a strange place with different people was hard at first for my aunt. But in a short time she adjusted to her new home. She frequently says that she is so well cared for and blessed to be at Blue Ridge. All the care givers there seem to function with a very big heart and kindness that is extraordinary. The staff at Blue Ridge is very organized, efficient and smooth in their work of caring for older residents. They know just what to do in difficult situations. My aunt and her family are very happy with Blue Ridge and all their very kind and compassionate staff! We are all grateful our aunt is being cared for so very well!
